Hurricane engines power several of the new Ram 1500 trucks near Cedarburg. The 2026 Ram 1500 offers two robust 3.0-liter inline-six Twin Turbocharged Hurricane engines. The high-output Hurricane engine for the new Ram 1500 churns out 540 horsepower and 521 pound-feet of torque. The primary Hurricane engine produces 420 horsepower and 469 pound-feet of torque while attaining the truck's top towing rating of 11,550 pounds. Powered by the 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine with eTorque, the Ram 1500 is able to move heavier payloads while delivering 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. With an 8-speed automatic transmission and available four-wheel drive, the Ram 1500 provides smooth, responsive performance in various driving conditions.
